Chorus Auditions set for Sunday April 29th!
Elizabeth R & Co. in partnership with the New York Opera Studio is bringing opera to the Outer Banks! The opera “La Traviata” by Verdi will be performed on September 15, 2018 at the First Flight High School in Kill Devil Hills. “La Traviata” is a component of Elizabeth R & Company’s Percy W. & Elizabeth G. Meekins Cultural Enrichment Program for Dare County. The project is sponsored and principally funded by the Meekins Charitable Trust, Outer Banks Community Foundation, Don & Catherine Bryan Cultural Series and Sharon and Derek Hatchell.
Auditions for chorus roles are being held on Sunday April 29th, from 5-8 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church, 40 Pintail Trail, Southern Shores (behind the fire station).
Singers with classical training and some experience in operatic literature and Italian are urged to audition. A pianist will be provided. There is no audition fee.
